Post secondary certification and diploma or degree in health care field required. Minimum 3-5 years experience in Disability Management with WCB or insurance carriers in a unionized environment. Knowledge of medical conditions, terminology and ergonomics required. Knowledge of short and long term disability policies and procedures; Human Rights Legislation and Duty to Accommodate.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Ability to maintain internal and external relationships. Ability to envision short and long term goals. Strong oral and written communication skills. Computer literacy in Word, Excel, etc. strong computer skills. Self motivated and self directed. Organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple assignments. Ability to work in an environment of constant change. Knowledge of WCB policy and legislation. Conflict resolution skills; ability to handle stressful situations. Problem solving and decision making skills.
