Grade 12 diploma or recognized equivalent. A minimum of completion of a post-secondary certificate/diploma in office/business administration.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of three (3) years related administrative experience. Excellent skills in use of Microsoft Office computer software (Outlook, MS Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project) and formatting. Minimum word processing speed 40-50 w.p.m. Minute taking experience and competency. Professional approach with reception duties. Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, both in person and by telephone. Ability to work independently with a minimum of direction or supervision. Ability to work in a stressful, active area and deal with frequent interruptions. Proficiency in spelling, punctuation, grammar and proofreading skills. Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:Administrative experience in a healthcare setting. Excellent skills with building and maintaining databases using software like MS Access. Experience with RMS, Share Point and Red Dot software systems. Knowledge of hospital and organizational structure as well as HR systems.
