The Secretary II performs these tasks in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the AUPE General Support Services Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications: One year related post secondary certificate required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:Diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. Minimum one year of recent administrative experience supporting operational leaders or management teams in a healthcare or similarly complex environment. Demonstrated experience independently coordinating a broad range of administrative functions, including calendar management, meeting coordination, agenda and minute preparation, correspondence, records management, and stakeholder communications. Demonstrated experience processing and monitoring financial transactions, including financial coding, invoice management, expense reconciliation, and adherence to organizational financial procedures. Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities, maintain confidentiality, and exercise sound judgment in a dynamic environment. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams).
Preferred Qualifications:Experience supporting healthcare leaders, committees, and departmental operations. Experience preparing reports, presentations, briefing materials, and meeting documentation. Knowledge of healthcare administrative, financial, and reporting processes. Experience tracking budgets, expenditures, and operational action items.
