Your Opportunity:
The Advisor serves as the functional expert within the Workforce Application & Systems Solutions team, offering advice, analysis, and guidance across systems and processes. Operating in a collaborative environment, the Advisor resolves complex issues and delivers comprehensive solutions that support the accurate and timely administration of Scheduling and payroll functions. Key responsibilities include leading system upgrades and enhancements for platforms such as Infor Workforce Management, Auto shift Callout, ServiceNow, Service Hub, and IAM to ensure precise processing of employee data and payroll. The role demands interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on achieving outcomes within defined timelines, operational standards and collective agreement, policy or legislated requirements. The Advisor works closely and in collaboration with Covenant Health Leaders, internal and external stakeholders, Shared Services teams and system vendors to provide business and technical support. Lead system implementations, enhancements and updates and process development for COV. Responsible for the configuration, testing, validation for the applicable implementations. Management of audit requirements as it relates to scheduling, payroll, policies and collective agreements. Review and analyze options to ensure user and/or functional requirements and recommend appropriate business solutions considering organization policies, collective agreements, legislation and/or processes. Develop of report requirements, work with requestor to identify business requirements.

A degree or professional designation in a related field (such as Computer Sciences, Business Analyst, Project Management, Human Resource Management). Five to seven years' experience working with HR Systems in a complex unionized environment or equivalent. Driver’s license is required for travel between sites and provincially. Equivalencies in education and experience may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:Advanced knowledge of WFM Scheduling System, Automated Shift Callout system, PeopleSoft, Identity & Access Management (IAM), ServiceNow, and SharePoint, supporting seamless and efficient operations and data integrity. Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply legislation, regulatory standards, collective agreements, and organizational policies to guide decision-making and ensure compliance and equitable standard business processes and practices. Adept at evaluating complex system and process challenges, identifying root causes, and recommending effective solutions for system and process inefficiencies. Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio) with strong capabilities in documentation, reporting, and workflow visualization. Experienced in mapping, analyzing, and improving Scheduling, payroll and IT workflows to align with best practices and legal standards, ensuring smooth transitions during system upgrades, collective agreement or policy changes. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences and gather business requirements with clarity and precision. Demonstrated ability to plan and lead HR / IT system/internal projects, coordinating resources and timelines to deliver successful outcomes on schedule.
Preferred Qualifications:Ability to ensure data accuracy and integrity, and security; perform data analysis.
