A related Bachelor’s Degree is required in a relevant field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a related quantitative discipline. Must have at least five years related experience working with spreadsheets, databases and tools for querying, integrating, analyzing, interpreting, reporting and disseminating data in an HR environment. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in advanced analytics, data mining, data visualization, and optimization. Must be proficient using Tableau, Oracle SQL (eManager), PeopleSoft (ePeople) or other comparable database query and report writing experience.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Experience in screening, cleaning, linking, creating, modifying and analyzing data-sets in a statistical or database-management software package. Effectiveness as a member of a multidisciplinary team, including information sharing and developing informal educational materials for the internal team. Continuous learning mindset with a commitment to staying updated with advancements in data science and healthcare analytics. Excellent oral and written communication skills in order to communicate ideas, methods, and key findings clearly and succinctly. Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your own work and time. problem-solving skills to identify and find solutions to day-to-day practical and technical problems. Experience creating and giving presentations to a varied group of internal and external stakeholders. Knowledge of applicable regulatory considerations as it relates to, but is not limited to, the utilization and access of health information from a research, operational and legislative perspective (Health Information Act, FOIPP).
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of the healthcare environment is preferred.
