Reporting to the Manager, Workforce Application and System Solutions, this position is responsible for providing support to Covenant Health leaders and employees through Customer Service, Education/Training, Process and System development. The Analyst is involved in the day-to-day administration and implementation of Workforce Application System, ESP, Employee Self-Service (ESS), Workforce Interface Management (WIM), Workforce Timekeeping Interface (WTKI) and Time and Labour (e-People). Incumbents will provide a high level of customer service and provides on-going support to Covenant Health leaders, employees, and other internal and external stakeholders. Will assist with the development to complete deliverables and identify additional work that may be required to meet organizational business needs, including business process development, training materials, and communications. Develops and participates in various system and project initiatives. The Workforce Systems Analyst must be able to review the scheduling functionality with an outlook to integrating existing business processes seamlessly into this environment. The ability to analyze and triage system processes and software problems is required.
Additional Qualifications:5 years’ experience in staff scheduling and payroll. Experience with scheduling software (Kronos Workforce ESP preferred) and human resources information systems. Previous experience with software or process implementations required. Previous experience with testing software to support application upgrades. Previous experience training users on application usage. Working knowledge of Covenant Health systems, policies an processes and general business operations. Experience in a unionized environment required; healthcare experience is preferred. Must be able to work in a fast-paced demanding environment, exercise sound judgement, and be extremely flexible in managing variable and unpredictable situations. Excellent detailed analytical and problem solving skills. Strong commitment to participation within a collaborative team environment. Demonstrated excellence in customer service and commitment to support quality health care. Comprehensive knowledge of scheduling and payroll, problem solving ability and technical expertise are required in this role to support systems that are critical for scheduling and payroll.
Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of collective agreements and related legislation. Understanding and commitment to Covenant Mission, Vision and Values. Working knowledge of SharePoint, MS Project, Visio and/or Microsoft Skype. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and listening skills.
