Your Opportunity:

Reporting to the Manager, Learning and Development, the Learning and Development Associate Consultant is accountable supporting Learning and Development initiatives from initiation to completion and sustainability. In consultation with various stakeholders across the organization, responsibilities include the end-to-end development of learning initiatives. This includes the development of learning programs, courses and resources to support a blended approach to employee development. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring Learning and Development services are carried out in a manner that is consistent with Covenant Health’s Mission, Values and Ethical guidelines. Travel is required, and may include the use of a personal vehicle. A standard driver’s abstract may also be required for use of corporate lease vehicles.

Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in education or related field, and certification in Adult Learning or Curriculum design is required. Experience designing and facilitating competency-based experiential learning programs required. Experience with authoring tools such as Captivate or Articulate required. Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and subject matter experts for the implementation of organization-wide initiatives required. Ability to work directly and independently with various learning populations and units within the organization to consultatively determine needs and deliver solutions required. Knowledge of the Principles of Adult Learning and Instructional Design required. Candidate must possess reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (travel between the Covenant Health sites is required). Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with media, voice editing, video editing, photo shop or Adobe Suite is an asset. Past experience working in a multi-unionized setting is an asset.
