Required Qualifications: Completion of Grade 10 required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively required. Demonstrated ability to maintain interpersonal relationships with patients, co-workers and other hospital personnel required. Recent Operating Room Service Attendant experience required. Must be able to follow instructions, work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Must be able to meet the job demand analysis requirements required. Ability to stand and walk for complete shift required.
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum two years related experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred. High School diploma or recognized equivalent preferred. Previous patient portering experience is preferred. Knowledge and application of infection control principles and basic aseptic technique preferred. All candidates are asked to submit a current resume.
