Completion of Grade 10 required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum two years related experience in a hospital setting required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively required. Demonstrated ability to maintain interpersonal relationships with patients, co-workers and other hospital personnel required. Recent Operating Room Service Attendant experience required. Must be able to follow instructions, work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Must be able to meet the job demand analysis requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:High School diploma or recognized equivalent preferred. Previous patient portering experience is preferred. Knowledge and application of infection control principles and basic aseptic technique preferred.
