The successful candidate will have a related degree or diploma and five years of related experience advising on large-scale employee benefit plans. Must have extensive knowledge in all aspects of employee benefit processes, policies and contracts. Comprehensive knowledge of the benefit industry, including benefit plans, insurance company operations, underwriting and financial arrangements. Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to communicate effectively in a co-operative, respectful, and sensitive manner. Advanced computer skills in a Windows and Microsoft Office environment, including knowledge of system reporting is required. Ability to maintain confidentiality and conduct self in a professional manner. A combination of education, skills and experience may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience working in a health care and/or unionized environment would be an asset.
