Required Qualifications: Successful completion of a diploma in any of the Imaging modalities or Biomedical Technology is required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Graduate from a recognized Institute of Technology with a two-year diploma in Biomedical Engineering Technology, and or equivalent in education and experience. Must have a valid driver's license. Specific manufacturer's technical service training courses on specialized medical equipment for patient care is an asset. Exhibit a working knowledge of medical terminology and physiology along with microprocessor and PC based troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications:Additional biomedical, mechanical, and electronic experience is an asset. Demonstrate technical skills and mechanical aptitude. Demonstrate good interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills; proven organizational skills. Must be reliable, alert, accurate, and capable of working independently.
