A minimum of completion of a post-secondary diploma in Business/Medical Administration is required, preferably with a focus in business analytics. Excellent formatting and computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and Power Point) are required.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Ability to work independently with a minimum of direction or supervision. Ability to work in an active area and deal with frequent interruptions. Must handle all personal contacts with tact and diplomacy. Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive information – some of which may include labour relations information. Must be flexible and adaptable to change. Knowledge of project management theories, principles, practices and processes would be an asset. Ability to maintain a professional level of diplomacy, confidentiality and tact.
Preferred Qualifications:
Baccalaureate degree preferred. Knowledge / use of MS Teams is preferred. Minute taking experience is preferred. Knowledge of hospital and organizational structure is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred. Valid Driver’s license an asset.
