Certificate from an accredited school of Cardiology Technology is required. Current membership with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists Association required. Applied Science Technologist registration required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Previous experience as a Cardiology Technologist within an acute care setting. Sound knowledge of cardiac rhythms. Ability to demonstrate effective communication with multidisciplinary team members. Ability to multi-task and prioritize work throughout the shift. Able to work extended hours on feet whether standing or walking. Able to push equipment throughout the facility to patients.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in an acute care setting preferred.
