Diploma from a recognized institution in a health related field or business administration with minimum 2 years related experience using scheduling systems in a 24 hour service environment required. Three (3) years previous supervisory, managerial experience, preferably in health care. Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in a health care setting. Previous experience with staff scheduling provisions and payroll is required. Must be able to exercise strong leadership and sound decision making, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
Additional Qualifications:Knowledge and experience using, interpreting and complying with applicable collective agreement provisions required. Previous scheduling experience using ESP or an equivalent system is required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point required. Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills required.
