As the successful candidate, you will be an established, credible leader in the health services delivery sector; a licensed physician in good standing with a strong clinical background and demonstrated administrative leadership skills; and possess a strong understanding of Canadian healthcare. You will be a visionary leader who inspires and motivates the entire organization both in urban and rural communities while being an advocate for Covenant in the health sector. With political acumen, and exceptional verbal and written communication skills, you will be comfortable in identifying and approaching individuals in Government, Alberta Health Services, and other stakeholders, to build and maintain effective relationships. Covenant Health will give consideration to applicants who would like to maintain their clinical practice, with the expectation that the CMO will work a minimum of 0.75 FTE.
