A Baccalaureate Degree and/or Masters Degree in a program directly related to infant, child, and family development. Demonstrated competence in Growth & Development, Therapeutic Processes and Boundaries, Family Systems Theory, Child Life Practice, and Principles of Learning/Teaching. Current Heart and Stroke Foundation BLS (Level C- Health Care Provider) required. Trauma Informed Care training. 2 years recent pediatric experience providing therapeutic care and interventions (individual/family/group therapy) with children and families. Experience working in a pediatric hospital or clinic setting.
Preferred Qualifications:Certification through the Child Life Council. Proven ability to work effectively with an inter-professional team and community partners. The combination of education and clinical experience satisfactory to the employer will also be considered.
