High School diploma or recognized equivalent required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of 6 months related clerical experience required. Proficiency in office procedures and computer applications in a Windows environment including word processing and spreadsheets required. Proficient in typing required. Ability to read, write, clearly speak and understand English required. Basic knowledge of dietary guidelines required.
Preferred Qualifications:Completion of courses in or related to Food & Nutrition with exposure to therapeutic diet writing from a recognized post-secondary institute desired. Familiarity with staff scheduling systems desired. Strong interpersonal skills and training in customer relations. Ability to work quickly and accurately under deadlines. Critical thinking skills and confidence to make decisions to ensure patient safety. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
