Your Opportunity:
Reporting to the Supervisor, Health Information Management, this position is responsible for providing courteous and professional reception and information services to patients, public and hospital personnel; interviewing patients or their representatives for registration purposes according to Provincial standards and ensuring information is accurate and complete. Must maintain confidentiality of all information handled. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining a positive public image to patients, hospital visitors and staff as well as provide professional service at all times in keeping with Covenant Health's Mission, Vision and Values. Must be dependable and reliable. Please note: Classifications Under Review.
Description:
The Clerk III provides a wide range of clerical support, with varying duties depending on the specified program/department. The Clerk III performs these tasks in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 2111 Collective Agreement.

Additional Required Qualifications:Medical Terminology (testing required). Accurate Typing skills 40 wpm (testing required). Post secondary education applicable to position.
Preferred Qualifications:One year experience in Registration preferred.
