Your Opportunity:
Reporting to the Program Manager of Surgery, this position provides clerical support within the Vascular Quality Initiative (VQI) office through collection and coordination of data and patient information into various electronic platforms. This position works closely with the VQI data coordinator, surgery leadership team, surgeons and their office staff through supporting timely and accurate entry of information as it pertains to the vascular quality program with a focus on verification of data submissions. The VQI clerk will work within the surgery leadership team to support collating accurate data content for meetings and education sessions for staff and surgeons. Candidates will be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite in particular Excel. Candidates will have experience working with Netcare and Connect Care. Please note: Classifications Under Review.
Description:
The Clerk III provides a wide range of clerical support, with varying duties depending on the specified program/department. The Clerk III performs these tasks in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 41 Collective Agreement.

High School diploma or recognized equivalent required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Related post-secondary certificate in Office Administration is required. Successful completion of medical terminology course. Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Excel required. 1-2 years related experience within a healthcare environment.
Preferred Qualifications:Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated capability to work in a busy office environment and managing multiple priorities while displaying a professional and positive demeanor. Previous experience with data collection and collation.
