Your Opportunity:
This position is responsible for providing courteous and professional reception and information services to patients, the public and hospital personnel: interviewing patients or their representatives for registration purposes according to Provincial standards and ensuring information is accurate and complete, obtaining signatures as required. Responsible for ensuring appropriate insurance and preferred accommodation documentation is obtained. Must maintain a positive public image to patients, hospital and staff. Must maintain confidentiality of all information handled at all times. Please note: Classifications Under Review.
Description:
The Clerk III provides a wide range of clerical support, with varying duties depending on the specified program/department. The Clerk III performs these tasks in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 2111 Collective Agreement.

High School diploma or recognized equivalent required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Medical Terminology - test will be administered. Accurate typing skills - 40 WPM - test will be administered. Post Secondary education applicable to position, MOA, unit clerk.
Preferred Qualifications:One year experience in Registration.
