Description:
The Clerk III provides a wide range of clerical support, with varying duties depending on the specified program/department. The Clerk III performs these tasks in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 2111 Collective Agreement.

High School diploma or recognized equivalent required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Must have a Certificate from a recognized training program which includes a practicum component. A course in Medical Terminology is required. Must have at least two to three years directly related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Ability to work in fast paced environment with competing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:Unit Clerk certificate or equivalent from a recognized post-secondary institution required. One-year related experience in a hospital environment required. Previous pediatric clinic experience an asset. One to two years directly related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Experience and knowledge in Connect Care scheduling and Netcare applications.
