One year related post secondary certificate required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:Must have two to three years directly related experience. Current or previous ambulatory care experience - Current or previous acute hospital clerical or medical office experience preferred. Must be familiar with health care related software, e.g. VAX, e-Clinician, Netcare, Connect Care.
Preferred Qualifications:Surgical Suite Booking Clerk experience preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload effectively. Must remain efficient while dealing with numerous interruptions. Committed to accuracy and attention to detail. Must be capable of working in a fast paced, patient care environment.
