Description:

The Clerk IV provides complex clerical support. The Clerk IV performs these tasks in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 41 Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:

One year related post secondary certificate required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent required. Unit Clerk Certificate from a recognized educational facility or related work experience with a Medical terminology certificate required confirmed by employer testing. Computer Literacy/keyboarding- Typing 30-45wpm required- confirmed by employer testing. 1 - 2 years of office, clerical or service industry experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

One year Diagnostic Imaging experience preferred. Proven interpersonal and communication skills. Courteous, tactful and inclusive toward all people. Accuracy in work performance. Co-operative, conscientious, reliable and responsible. Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, technologists, nursing personnel and patients. Excellent organizational skills; able to perform numerous tasks and reprioritize as necessary.
