Your Opportunity:

The central booking office schedules patient appointments for the following departments: DI, OR, PAC, Endoscopy, Ambulatory Care, Respiratory, Holter Monitors, and Ortho Clinic. This is great opportunity to expand your clinical knowledge and networks within St. Mary's Hospital. This casual position will require multiple Connect Care ILT courses to allow for access to booking in all departments. This will be included as part of the orientation for the position. Please note: Classifications Under Review.

Description: The Clerk IV provides complex clerical support. The Clerk IV performs these tasks in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the AUPE General Support Services Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:

Required Qualifications: One year related post secondary certificate required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Medical Terminology. Connect Care Experience. Experience with Microsoft office and Windows 10. Unit Clerk or Admin Office education.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in health care setting. Knowledge of DI and OR workflows.
