Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a health related discipline required. Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a Registered Health Professional. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in an Educator position. Registered with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Three to five years recent related experience working in Parenteral Therapy. Experience researching clinical best practice. A combination of education and experience will be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Demonstrates flexibility and openness to new ideas and methods. Demonstrates clinical expertise with a high level knowledge of best practice principles. Possesses knowledge and understanding of the roles of nursing and interdisciplinary team members. Maintains confidentiality. Possesses and utilizes outstanding communication skills (interpersonal, written, and verbal). Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving. Able to perform a variety of non-routine duties. Maintains own professional competence. Highly self-motivated and directed, able to work independently or in groups. Short term and long range planner with the ability to organize and set priorities for multiple competing activities. Team building, problem solving and conflict resolution ability. Ability to promote group decision making in an interdisciplinary program management model. Ability to work collaboratively with external partners. Willingness to be a change agent. Computer literacy. Ability to travel between sites including overnight stays. Able to flex schedule as may be operationally required by the Organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree preferred. Previous experience in a leadership role preferred. Certification in Adult Learning an asset. Previous experience in project and committee participation an asset. Is innovative and creative.
