Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Arts or Social Sciences, or a related field. Three to five years’ progressive experience in digital media content management and monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and data analysis and reporting, preferably within health or social care, government relations, research/policy, or in a not-for-profit environment. A combination of education and experience will be considered. Knowledge of the health care or continuing care sectors is preferred.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent engagement and relationship-building skills. Highly developed organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to travel occasionally is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Skills or experience in facilitation, survey development, social marketing, government relations, and graphic design and layout are an asset. Familiarity or experience with boards is considered desirable. Accreditation or membership in a professional communications society (IABC, CPRS) is preferred.
