A baccalaureate degree in a related health science discipline preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 3-5 years of Continuing Care operations experience. Working knowledge of Alberta Health - Continuing Care Health Service Standards and Accommodation Standards, and Accreditation Canada Standards related to continuing care. Experience with the development and implementation of safety and quality initiatives/policies/procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Effectively communicates using tact and diplomacy. Strong organizational and conflict resolution skills, ability to handle stressful situations. Ability to set priorities and keep multiple initiatives on track. Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities to develop plans that guarantee successful implementation of initiatives. A working knowledge and understanding of change management, quality and process improvement (e.g. LEAN). Excellent computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
A baccalaureate degree in nursing.
