Masters degree in health science related field of study.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Two (2) years experience in health/health-education research environment specifically including: Funding - knowledge of granting agencies and general climate of research funding in health industry with experience in sourcing, developing, and writing grant applications; and Research – knowledge of various types of research approaches utilized in healthcare, with experience developing and conducting research projects. Ethics – knowledge of TCPS2, and REB requirements. Knowledge of healthcare in Alberta. Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills • Ability to work within Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to communicate and work effectively with a wide array of people and across various media; • Ability to analyze and think critically • Flexibility and potential to adapt to rapidly-changing deadlines and requirements; • Willingness to cross-train – participate, contribute to, collaborate and otherwise support a small team undertaking a broad scope of work • Good organizational, time management and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
PhD in health science related field of study, with 5 years experience in health/health-education research environment.
