Your Opportunity:

Working in a self-directed, client-focused and collaborative environment, the Organizational Development (OD) Consultant is responsible for being an “intentional catalyst for change that maximizes Covenant Health’s capacity to benefit those we serve”. The OD Consultant works directly with leaders and teams to strengthen our mission-inspired culture and support the achievement of our strategic objectives through three service streams: Change & Transition Management Team Development Leadership Development As per the Code of Conduct, the OD Consultant provides these services in a manner that upholds the vision, mission, values and ethical traditions of Covenant Health. Travel is required, and may include the use of a personal vehicle. A standard driver’s abstract may also be required for use of corporate lease vehicles.

Description:

Change & Transition Management Ensure proposed client changes align with and support the achievement of the Covenant Health Vision, Mission, and Strategic Directions, Values, desired culture and effective organizational effectiveness principles. Facilitate the successful implementation of organizational change initiatives by: preparing stakeholders for the change, helping stakeholders to navigate the changes and inevitable obstacles and design and implement system supports to sustain the change over time. Team Development Strengthen our Mission-Inspired Culture by collaborating with Leaders and Culture Ambassadors to create and implement impactful team development plans and interventions. This service ensures that we are fostering an environment where our employees can thrive and provide outstanding care to those we serve. Leadership Development Design and develop leadership development opportunities, in collaboration with the Learning & Development and Talent Management Teams and key stakeholders, to address identified needs and facilitate adult learning. This could include Leadership Pathways course and session design and delivery, The Leadership Challenge Executive Course facilitation, Executive Coaching and development of customized performance development plans based on 360 Assessments.

Required Qualifications:

Formal Education: Masters’ degree in Organizational Development, Business, Human Resources or Organizational Psychology is preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered. License(s)/ Certificate(s): Certification in Change & Transition Management, and/or Project Management, and/or Executive Coaching, and/or Personality Assessment Administration (Personality Dimensions or MBTI. Formal training in leadership development approaches, group facilitation and organizational effectiveness. Experience: 3 - 5 years’ experience providing organizational development and internal consultation and facilitation in a complex organization. Special Knowledge / Skills: Sound ability to successfully lead significant organization-wide initiatives. Solid business acumen and ability to think strategically. Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners. Excellent customer service orientation and strong ability to develop partnerships. Ability to objectively balance client and organizational needs. Proven critical thinking and problem solving abilities. Proven ability to balance multiple projects and diverse workload. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
