Required Qualifications:

A Journeyman certificate is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Grade 12 or equivalent required. Journeyman Cook papers required. Journeyman Ticket required. Minimum one (1) year recent institutional, large quantity cooking experience required. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English required. Able to work independently, yet still capable of working as part of a team. Able to follow directions and guidelines. Good time management skills, planning for deadlines. Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills. Must demonstrate knowledge of cleanliness and sanitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

WHMIS certification desired. Basic knowledge of regular and special diets is asset.
