Required Qualifications: A Journeyman certificate is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum two 2-3 years of recent cooking experience in health care, or large quantity cooking. Current Food Handling Certificate. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English, required. Basic knowledge of regular and special diets, required. Basic computer skills, required. Strong interpersonal skills and training in customer relations. Ability to work quickly and accurately under deadlines. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to follow directions and guidelines. High standards for cleanliness and sanitation. High levels of honesty and integrity Ability to adjust quantity and develop recipes. Pushing and pulling of carts and wagons requiring up to 60 pounds (27.2 kg) of push force. Ability to lift 20 pounds (9 kg).
Preferred Qualifications:Experience completing food orders and inventory.
