A Journeyman certificate is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Fluent in English, and have basic computer skills. The ability to work as part of a team as well as independently. Possess good leadership and time management skills, able to follow directions, and work to meet deadlines. Has attention for detail, and is capable of meeting the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods of time, and the ability lift 60 lbs. Must possess the fortitude to work in a hospital type setting.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous food service experience in a care facility or an institutional setting. WHMIS, Food Safety certification and customer service course work are all desired.
