Required Qualifications:

One year related post secondary certificate required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Please note: Must be able to travel between various sites/locations; and may require the use of a personal vehicle. Related post-secondary education required. Minimum 2 years’ experience with health research and research logistics. Must be able to work independently. Well-developed writing skills. Working proficiency of Microsoft Office suite products and including database software, as well as survey software such as Survey Select. Working knowledge of medical terminology and comfort with health research literature. Demonstrated competence in coordinating multiple projects, with well-developed planning and problem-solving skills. Results oriented with proven attention to detail, comfort working with indicators and metrics. Understanding of TCPS2, HIA, and FOIP. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to provide professional and quality customer service; relate effectively within a team setting, within all levels of the organization, and with external partners/stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Focused degree in a health science program; research administration/coordination and/or project management certificates are preferred. Experience with EDGE research management and Umbraco software; Understanding of health research ethics and ethics reviews.
