Undergraduate degree in health sciences or related field required; equivalent experience may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Health sector or governance experience required. Minimum 3 years policy and procedure experience required. Excellent computer skills including MS Office Suite (including MS Teams), website management, library databases and ability to leverage the internet as a research tool. Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate and interact effectively with all healthcare disciplines. Ability to work independently. Ability to develop and maintain and accurate file and retrieval system. Working knowledge of medical terminology required. Demonstrated abilities in advanced technical report preparation and writing. Ability to engage professionally with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Thorough understanding of legislation related to health care required. Good organizational skills with ability to be flexible; able to adapt and respond to a busy and varied workload and manage multiple competing priorities. Ability to work to deadlines and targets. Positive attitude and creative problem solving ability. Team player who can support, contribute and actively participate in projects. Attention to detail and drive to deliver high quality and accurate work. Must demonstrate compassion, respect, collaboration, social justice, integrity and stewardship to align with Covenant Health values.
Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management experience/certification.
