Your Opportunity:
As a Coordinator of Digital Health and Clinical Informatics, you will work in collaboration with all levels of clinic leadership, staff and physicians to support the implementation and sustainment of the CIS (Clinical Information System) within Covenant Health (COV) facilities.
Description:
Reporting to the Manager, Digital Health and Clinical Informatics, the Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sustainment and ongoing operations of clinical information systems within Covenant Health (COV) facilities. The Coordinator demonstrates leadership and expertise in the development, deployment, and adoption of clinical information systems (CIS), such as Connect Care, in support of the Covenant Health strategic and operational priorities. Using facilitation skills and strong working knowledge of CIS related systems, processes, and practices, the Coordinator collaborates closely with key stakeholders and partners, such as AHS Information Technology staff, to design/build/maintain clinical content within current and future organizational CIS applications. In this role, the Coordinator acts as the translator for the needs of the patients/clinicians/organization in the utilization of the CIS technology to improve clinical care. The Coordinator is integral to the testing, monitoring and auditing of system functionality and optimization of end-user experience. They use their in depth understanding of clinical operations to enable integration and optimization of the features of CIS applications into clinical workflows at the point of care. This position is non-unionized.

Diploma or certificate in a related field such as Business Administration, Business Analyst, Project Management, Health Professional or Health Informatics. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2-3 years healthcare experience in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. Minimum 2 years' experience using or managing clinical information systems desired.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to effectively engage various stakeholders. Strong change management skills and understanding will be an asset. Ability to problem solve and understand project management concepts to help balance diverse stakeholder interests. EPIC software knowledge an asset. Experience in project management, planning and implementation an asset.
