Diploma or certificate in a related field (such as Business Administration, Business Analyst, Project Management, Computer Sciences, Health Professional or Health Informatics) is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Minimum 2-3 years healthcare experience in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity is required. Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to effectively manage meetings, write reports, conduct effective presentations, and to engage with various stakeholders. Demonstrated excellent presentation skills and experience in facilitating presentations to convey information or transfer knowledge. Presentations are often to persuade or influence. Ability to balance diverse and, occasionally conflicting, stakeholder interests. Must be able to problem Solve and manage conflicts or politically sensitive matters in a professional manner. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal growth. Demonstrated experience or approach in complex problem solving, negotiation, concerns/conflict resolution and investigation/negotiation. Ability to think systematically and critically.

Demonstrated ability to promote teamwork, collaboration and partnership. Demonstrated knowledge of relevant health information standards, data interrelationships and dependencies among various health information systems is an asset.

Regulation as a health professional and/or experience in providing direct patient care an asset. Minimum 2 years’ experience using or managing clinical information systems desired. EPIC ambulatory software knowledge an asset. Experience in project planning and management an asset. Experience in educating, training and orientating staff and physicians to new policies/procedures, processes, systems or equipment is an asset.
