A BScN or recognized equivalent is required. A baccalaureate degree in a related health science discipline preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Membership in good standing with CRNA is required. Must have at least five years professional experience providing nursing care in a continuing care or home care environment which includes expertise using computerized assessment and tracking tools. Must have demonstrated working knowledge of the RAI/MDS. An additional three years of directly related experience including coaching and mentoring staff, assessing learning requirements, developing training materials and providing individualized assistance and feedback is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using Point, Click, Care software is strongly preferred. Knowledge of EPIC/Connect Care is an asset. Experience and/or education in research and adult education is an asset.
