This opportunity is for you! Covenant Health is recruiting for a Corporate Director, Strategic Accountability and Performance. This position is a vital, top-level position that reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). The Corporate Director, SAP also works closely with the Covenant Health’s CEO to successfully implement frameworks, processes and tools for the execution and measurement of the organization’s Core Accountabilities (Stewardship Accountabilities, Corporate Strategy and Operational/Departmental deliverables). The incumbent will also actively and continuously work with senior leaders to develop clear and concise workplans for their areas under each of the Core. This position is a pivotal leadership role designed to elevate Covenant Health’s operational efficiency and strategic alignment. As a visionary leader in this position, you will transform strategy into actionable frameworks, fostering a culture of continuous performance improvement. Description:

The Corporate Director, SAP acts as a trusted advisor, balancing high-level strategic insight with tactical execution, while navigating a dynamic, evolving organizational landscape. Within this position, the incumbent will also carry out such tasks as: Strategic Framework Development & Implementation: Establish frameworks and processes for the organization’s Core Accountabilities, ensuring alignment with Covenant Health’s mission and vision; Lead the transition from static to adaptive and continuous strategic planning; Synthesize operational accountabilities into an integrated corporate strategy. Performance Measurement and Reporting: Oversee the design and implementation of transparent performance measurement frameworks at executive, CEO and Board levels; Develop structured reporting mechanisms to evaluate progress against strategic objectives and operational deliverables; Identify and mitigate stalled initiatives, recommending corrective actions. Change Leadership and Innovation: Champion innovation by challenging the status quo and fostering a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement; Drive organizational change initiatives, addressing resistance ad enabling new perspectives; Support teams in aligning strategic objectives with real-time organizational needs. Collaboration & Relationship Building: Cultivate trust and alignment across departments; Engage senior leaders to co-develop workplans, ensuring clarity and consistency; Build internal networks to enhance cross-functional collaboration and joint action planning. Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead the Office of Strategy and Organizational Performance; Foster talent development and succession planning to enhance organization capacity; Apply evidence-based decision-making to manage resources effectively and drive team performance. This is a non-unionized, fulltime regular position.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in in business administration or a related field; Minimum of eight years experience in strategy execution, organizational performance or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Demonstrated understanding and commitment to Covenant’s Mission, Vision and Values; and a Commitment to sound professional ethics, tact and high work standards.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Expertise in corporate strategy, portfolio and project management, and organizational development; Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform decision-making and measure outcomes; Proficiency in change management methodologies and tools; Experience building and maturing corporate strategy frameworks in complex organizations; Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all levels; Collaborative leadership style with a focus on fostering teamwork and innovation; Results-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity effectively; Ability to build a culture that values agility, resilience, innovation and most importantly accountability.


Preferred Qualifications:

MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
