Description:
The Corporate Services Manager plays a leadership and coordination role in the Office of the Chief Operations Officer (COO). The incumbent provides leadership and support in developing, coordinating, implementing and monitoring progress of portfolio initiatives and strategic priorities. Additionally, they provide leadership by anticipating and mitigating issues and actionable items within the Office of the COO’s portfolio. The manager will develop and complete a wide range of documents to support the COO and the portfolio including, but not limited to briefing notes, formal reports, presentations, meeting materials, creating reports to the Board of Directors. The position also serves as a key point of contact in the department for external and internal stakeholders to ensure information is prioritized, collected, collated and disseminated. Accountabilities include collecting, synthesizing, and communicating information related to specific requests, correspondence or projects; Facilitating operational functions within the Office of the COO; Facilitating effective communication, problem solving, and conflict resolution/removal of barriers through consultation with key internal and/or external stakeholders is core work; and other such duties/projects as may be assigned and within the scope of this position. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated and results driven individual who has a proven ability to leverage their leadership, strategic thinking, and process management skills to ensure the delivery of quality work in the office of the COO and within the Operations portfolio. Baccalaureate degree in health care management or business required. A minimum of five years related experience within health care, government, or other organizations of similar size or complexity required.

Ability to adapt quickly and apply new learning. Broad knowledge of planning and operations. Ability to maintain a professional level of diplomacy, confidentiality and tact in all activities. Ability to function and thrive in a dynamic fast paced environment with a high level of complexity and pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters in health services administration, business, or other equivalent preparation preferred. Health care experience and systems knowledge an asset. Combination of education and experience will be considered.
