Diploma in visual communication and design or digital design from an accredited post secondary institution, required. Minimum two years experience working in design, photography and/or videography. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Mac platform), required. Knowledge of print, digital and multimedia production (or a combination of), required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Diploma or degree in design studies, graphic communications or digital and interactive media (or equivalent) required. Minimum of two (2) to five (5) years experience working in design required. Experience with print, digital and multimedia production required. Excellent software skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat Pro and Adobe Creative Suite in a Mac environment required. Strong initiative and self-motivation. Excellent project coordination skills, with ability to manage multiple projects at once and adapt to unexpected changes in priority, scope and timeline. Sound judgement, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with a minimum of guidance required. Proven attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle internal/external contacts with sensitivity and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with photography and/or videography, a definite asset. Experience providing exceptional customer service to a variety of clients in a fast-paced work environment, a definite asset. Experience in a User Experience (UX) Designer, User Interface (UI) Designer, Web Designer role, a definite asset.
