Reporting to the Program Manager of Nutrition Services, you will be responsible for patients and residents in Acute Care and Continuing Care.

Description: The Dietitian I is responsible for assessing, developing, implementing and evaluating the nutrition care for all patients/residents in the facility; on admission, quarterly and whenever there is a significant change in status to support optimum nutrition care. The dietitian acts as a liaison to the Nutrition and Food Services for program specific initiatives and supports. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Professional/Technical Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:

Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science with a major in Foods and Nutrition accredited by the College of Dietitian's of Alberta (CDA) is required. Active registration with the College of Dietitians of Alberta required. Successful completion of an internship program or practicum training program that is accredited by the Dietitians of Canada is required

Additional Required Qualifications:

Excellent time management and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate the ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with colleagues as a member of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Continuing Care experience.
