Your Opportunity:

This position reports to a member of the Facilities Maintenance and Engineering (FM&E) leadership team and performs duties found within the journeyman Electrician trade. This includes planned and demand maintenance on all FM&E supported infrastructure and equipment. Day to day activities include, conduit running, wire pulling, addressing electrical infrastructure problems, coordinating sub trades, assisting in any MCH Project work. Description:

The Electrician will install, alter, repair and maintain electrical systems designed to provide heat, light, power, control, signal or fire alarms for all types of buildings, structures and premises. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 2111 Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:

Must be a registered apprentice, an Alberta-certified journeyperson or hold a valid recognized credential.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Must hold a Journeyman Electrical Trades Ticket for at least 5 years.

Preferred Qualifications:

5 Years Electrical Maintenance in a Health Care Setting or Similar Commercial Environment preferred. Knowledge of High voltage electrical infrastructure, Transfer Switches, Siemens Fire Alarm Systems, and MCC line ups preferred.
