Minimum undergraduate degree required, preference for a health discipline. Completion of I-100, 1-200, Emergency. Operations Centre, courses or training required. Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a Leadership role in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity (health care experience an asset). Knowledge in Emergency Management and business continuity. Understanding and commitment to the Covenant Health vision, mission and strategic directions. Knowledge of project management. Extensive knowledge in program planning. Negotiation skills. Strong Communication skills. Ability to manage Conflict. Strong Organizational and Priority setting skills. Ability to analyze and interpret diverse and complex technical operating information. Ability to know when decisions need to be referred upward. Ability to lead diverse groups. Business Continuity certificate required. Valid Driver’s License. Registered with Emergency Management regulatory body.
