Required Qualifications: Completion of Grade 10 or recognized equivalent required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Must be able to cope with high noise levels during meal service. Operation of computerized cash register and associated computer programs. Occasionally required to lift weights up to 25lbs. Excellent manual and visual dexterity. Significant periods of standing during shift. Exposure to various chemical compounds and cleaners, some requiring special handling. Must be able to work holidays, weekends and flexible hours as workload demands. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Must display excellent communication and selling skills. Must display the ability to do math calculations. Must display excellent public relations and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to problem Display superior composure, tact and pleasant disposition to patrons at all times. Possess high standards of accuracy. Must have high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Must be honest and reliable.
Preferred Qualifications:WHMIS - Desired. Food Safe - Desired. Previous food service and cashier experience in an institutional setting. Proficiency in computer applications; word processing, spread sheets and database. Related experience in an institutional setting an asset.
