Candidates must be credentialed as either: Certified, Substantially Equivalent, or Deemed Competent, as per Alberta Health's hiring standards for HCAs. Physically able to assist with all aspects of patient/resident care and transport, e.g. walking, standing, bending and lifting. Must be able to understand written and verbal directions in English.
Additional Required Qualifications:Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high stress, collaborative team environment. Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous education and experience with Dementia Care preferred (More than 2 years preferred). Experience with chronic pain an asset.
