Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree required in health related or community development related discipline. Preference given to individuals with a Nursing degree. Two (2) to three (3) years in health care required with a focus on Health Promotion/Community Development. Active registration in related professional college or association. Individual and group health education experience required. Willing to complete North American Menopause Society Menopause Practitioner Certificate within 2 years of accepting employment in this area. Must be self-directed/motivated and a team player. Must possess proven assessment skills to enhance health education. Must be able to work effectively with various professionals, community groups and the public. Demonstrated leadership qualities and strong organizational abilities required. Demonstrated public relations and communication skills. Must have flexibility and openness to ideas and new concepts and able to respond to rapidly changing demands. Current working knowledge of Microsolf Office, Internet, Netcare and eClinician.
