Graduate from a Canadian College of Health Information Management (CCHIM) recognized program for Health Information Management Professionals required. Registration with the Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA) is required.
Additional Required Qualifications:We are looking for an experienced Coding Specialist who can accurately code (adhering to the Canadian Coding Standards) a variety of patient visits: emergency visits, day procedures and inpatients . You are able to code on average 150 ER visits, 50 day procedures and 27 inpatient visits a day. You are able to work independently but also work as part of a team.
