La Crete Continuing Care Health Centre provides compassionate, person-centered care to 23 long-term care residents. The facility features home-like accommodations in small group settings designed to foster comfort, dignity, and a sense of community. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, Covenant Health currently has a Northern Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $6,300. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay. Permanent and temporary employees working in excess of one (1) year whose work sites are above the 57th parallel are also eligible to receive an annual reimbursement of personal travel expenses to an annual maximum of $1,235. Eligible employees will be reimbursed for the cost of one (1) round trip, per calendar year, to any destination within Alberta. This posting is for 3 positions. Description:
The Hospitality Aide is a non regulated, non clinical support role dedicated to enhancing resident comfort, social engagement, and the overall hospitality of the care environment. Working under the direction of regulated staff, the Hospitality Aide may provide companionship and social interaction, assist with non clinical mealtime support, or help to maintain a welcoming environment through routine, non clinical environmental tasks such as tidying or cleaning, depending on the needs of the specific setting. The role may also support the care team by completing other straightforward, non clinical duties, including putting away supplies or restocking items, etc. Across all duties, the Hospitality Aide promotes resident centred comfort and quality of life while maintaining strict non clinical role boundaries and upholding Covenant¿s Values in all interactions. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the AUPE General Support Services Collective Agreement.
