Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 10 or recognized equivalent required.

Additional Required Qualifications:

You are kind and compassionate as this position is responsible for cleaning in St. Martha’s Long Term Care a 25 bed resident facility. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, fluent in English. Ability to work as part of a team and also independently. Possess good time management skills, able to follow directions, work to deadlines and has attention for detail. Capable to meet the physical demands of the position; able to stand for long periods of time and ability to lift at least 35 lbs. Competent computer skills-scheduling, payroll and majority of training and education is on-line.

Preferred Qualifications:

High School Diploma preferred. WHMIS training preferred. Previous housekeeping experience in a health care setting an asset.
