Your Opportunity:
Working in a dynamic CT department with possible Ultrasound and General Radiology needs. Develop skills associated with the scanning and patient care requirements in CT. You will collaborate with Technologists, Nurses and Patients. This position requires one to be physically capable to transfer patients, and porter stretchers. Good communication skills are necessary to ensure the best outcome for the patients and staff. This rotation is every weekend day shift as well as Stat holidays. Please note: Classifications Under Review.
Description:
The Imaging Attendant provides technical staff with general assistance in the preparation, planning and performance of procedures. This includes transporting patients and equipment, and providing preliminary screening and preparation for MRI, CT and Ultrasound patients. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 2111 Collective Agreement.

High School Diploma or recognized equivalent required. Medical Terminology certificate or recognized equivalent required. BLS (Level C - Health Care Provider) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent experience working in an acute care hospital (2 years) Medical Terminology course certificate.
Preferred Qualifications:Diagnostic imaging experience.
